TRANSPORT DIMENSIONS
Mt. 30 x.5,20 x h 5,60

TRANSPORT WEIGHT
49,46 tons.

OBJECTIVE
Transport of an oversize silos, for the first time produced by its constructor.
ANALYSIS The location of the loading place and the dimensions of the silos due to be transported have been the most critical issues of this project.
Several inspections have been required to confirm the feasibility of the transport.
Tortuous streets, roundabouts, thick vegetation, narrow passages between houses and numerous electricity wires could jeopardize the success of the transport and the safety of the goods entrusted to us.

STRATEGYOur goal, to execute the transport without damaging the goods and to avoid inconveniences to the road traffic, brought us to control carefully the practicability of each road also making use of computer simulations.Advanced contacts have been taken together with various local police stations to establish no parking areas in the critical points and also to require the pruning of the plants that could have damaged the silos.
We requested and obtained the cooperation of “Enel” to lift up the electric wires when we would have passed by.
It has been completely disassembled the road signage of two roundabouts and reassembled immediately after the convoy passed by.
The careful planning of the transport, combined to the professionalism of our staff, enabled us to fulfill the job with a great satisfaction of our customer and manufacturer.

TOOLS A 6x4 truck tractor and a modular semitrailer 2+2 long 17.20 mt. and tall from the floor 30 cm.
In this specific case the modular trailer was set up only with a group of axles.
Transport has been done during the night and has involved, a part of the driver, a person looking after the semi-trailer, 4 people attending the convoy and 2 people to remove/replace road signs.
